Arriving at my first En Francais, ca marche I was nervous that I wouldn’t know what to say, and that my French would be rubbish. But out in nature, we are naturally more relaxed, and it was lovely to experience the organic way in which we all fell into step, having short conversations with some, or getting involved in longer chats with people who had varying levels of skill. I felt none of the self-consciousness and pressure that scuppers me when I holiday in France and try to understand native speakers, so I felt comfortable to try, fail, learn from Lisa as she effortlessly appeared just as you needed her! Lisa’s kind and light approach makes you feel at home, and there were lovely little moments where she told us about features on the walk that challenged my learning, gave me more vocabulary and gave me a break from talking myself! It combines a nice walk in beautiful surroundings, with speaking French to your hiking companions. The atmosphere is relaxed and easy going and Lisa spoke to us ( in French) to point out various landmarks and outdoor features. She also answered any vocabulary or other French related questions. Cancellation policyI understand that there may be occasions when you need to cancel your booking. To ensure the smooth running of the event and provide the best service to all, I have implemented the following booking cancellation policy:

• Cancellation Notice:

I request a minimum of 24 hours advance notice for any booking cancellation or rescheduling. Failure to provide sufficient notice results in a non-refundable fee.

• Rescheduling:

If you wish to reschedule to a future walk, the credit can be transferred to the next walk in full.

• No-shows:

If you fail to show up for the walk, the fee is non-refundable.

• Other Circumstances:

I understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and I will make exceptions for emergencies or unavoidable situations. In such cases, please contact me as soon as possible to discuss your situation and potential alternatives.I appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
